And?  Calling someone a "snake" with no other context (religious slur, etc.) means nothing.  The PPP said Trump uses language to marginalize "the other" (meaning Jews).  Trump has never called Jews by derogatory names.  And you know it.  So stop twisting words.[/quote]
Who said the other is "Jews."  Not the PP, and not Hitler himself. Hitler also marginalized liberals, the media, gypsies, gays and all non-Germanic people.

Trump marginalizes liberals, the media, immigrants and Muslims.  He says nice things about Jews and Israel, but has also retweeted some anti-semitic memes.

By the way, I don't think Trump should be compared to Hitler, but not because they have nothing in common.  There are better comparisons among the authoritarian populists of the world.  Trump is closer to Silvio Berlosconi and Jair Bolsonaro.   [/quote]

"Marginalize" was PP's word, not mine.  The proper word here is "dehumanize."  Which we've seen more and more among regular people of in the Internet Age.  Trump is the first President to make dehumanization a part of his brand.  I hope he is the last, but I fear he is not.

One of the unfortunate consequences of Hitler comparisons is that even when accurate, they totally miss the real problem in Germany.  The real problem was that the anger and negativity he embodied was widespread among the German people all across the political spectrum.  He was a dangerous consequence of their problem, not the cause,  but they did not recognize it.  And I think the same is true today on both the left and the right.  [/quote]
