Right?  Why can't they share those duties, like millions of other two-earner households?  The kids are in high school.  They can make their own lunches and do their own homework.  Heck, they can help cook meals.  I know I did in high school.

I think the issue needs to be raised in a respectful manner -- sit down with the numbers and show her your income, expenses, and various savings.  Talk about your goals and how you can get there.  Figure out a plan together.  [/quote]
