Many New Yorkers point out he magnified loss of life on 9-11 because he made the political choice to move 911 communications to the basement of one of the WTC towers after the first parking garage bombing in 1993.  NYC probably paid exorbitant rent for that location and he probably got a kick back for that.  You have to ask how a guy from a modest background (his father was a small time mobster) who is a federal lawyer becomes a multi millionaire.  He also denied budget requests for better radios resulting in fire companies and police not being able to communicate during the 9-11 attack.  Also some radios did not work inside the buildings.    What did he really do after 9-11 except appear on TV constantly?   Someone once famously said the most dangerous place in NYC was between Rudy and a TV camera.  Maybe some of his boozing and dementia come from guilt over his inaction.  At some point he made the decision to go full criminal.  I hope he spends the rest of his life in jail. [/quote]
