The crabs/Vlc owner is a lunatic.
My son is on VLC. We never see the owner. My son only interacts with the team coaches, who are great guys.
You could say the same about Madlax.
Wouldn't surprise me, although Maddux coaches the 2024 Caps team himself, so they certainly see him. This is part of the reason I am skeptical of all the ML hate. If Maddux is deranged, OK, but how often does the average ML kid actually interact with him?
So you are saying it's ok to give the owner your money and have your kid play for him as long as it's other families that he threatens and not yours.
Yeah, if that's the way you want to think about it. Far as I know, Cabbell had an issue with one kid, once, six years ago. Since then he has coached hundreds of kids (and many other hundreds of kids have gone through MadLax and probably never interacted with him at all). To condemn MadLax and everyone who plays for them (which does not include my son, BTW) on the basis of that one episode is unbalanced and stupid.
Wow. You are either an idiot or incredibly naive. He has threatened many people before, during and after that incident. Email, phone, in-person, etc.
And how do you account for all the parents who are paying for their sons to play for ML? These are people with money, or they couldn't afford ML. They are not naive idiots.
Got it. We will put you in the camp of - it's okay to knowingly cheat by entering older teams into younger age divisions on multiple occasions and it's also okay to physically threaten grade school children and try to blackmail their parents by saying you will ruin the kid's future education unless they pay up and register for the ML programs.
