Agree, but I think that what they are trying to say is that Randall hasn't reconciled with his past and can't figure out how to stay true to his family, honor both of his fathers and make his mark on the world, which he was never able to do in his corporate job.  He's always been the "stable" one, but that was just a facade. It also further illustrates that he never feels like he truly belongs anywhere.  For example, he doesn't feel accepted in a "white" nor "black" world, which was a huge theme in last week's episode.  He's just as lost as Kate and Kevin and we are now starting to see that more with Randall.[/quote]

Excellent assessment. Initially Randall was super dad, super husband, super worker, he built their house, he found his dad, etc. Now we are seeing he is just as flawed as his siblings with his blind hero complex. [/quote]
