It's not just what you say, it's how you said it. She said those things in that way to hurt Carole and put her down.

She said those things as the explanation as to why she didn't bring Carole to PR and why they were growing apart on a TV show where she is being asked to explain herself on camera.  And she said them very matter-of-factly.  And they're all true.  In an ideal world, I suppose she should have said all this stuff to Carole's face straight away.  But she didn't and again it's a TV show.  In real life, it would have been a normal cooling off in a friendship.  However, Carole gets to see it all on TV months later.  Which I'm sure sucks and feels bad.

This was my feeling as well! 
She took Bettheny down, and I was trying to figure out why? Was it what Bettheny  said about Adam? Carole went after Bettheny with a dagger, and aside from Bettheny usually bitchiness, she didn't do anything g to cause it. I do think she was really hurt that she wasn't brought to Puerto Rico. Maybe she's feeling insecure about her career. Despite what Carole said, Bettheny is having a rock start career.[/quote]
