This is all correct except they weren’t showing them photos on a phone. They were showing them items inside the white bag- the huddled over to block the view of the reporter behind. They wanted confirmation it was Brian’s stuff. Then police tells them to go home, Brian’s dad says he wants to stay and help and the police puts his arm on dad’s shoulder saying “we think we found something so we need to ask you to go home.” Making clear they found remains. That’s when dad started crying and mom wiped away his tears[/quote]

No, laundrie’s mom is holding the white bag as the man holds up something (probably a phone), and the Laundries move around, trying to get a good angle to watch the screen because the sunlight is so bright.[/quote]
