They get hot pretty quickly and take off the sweats. DS wears a pair of surgical gloves on his hands because they fit into his gloves and keep his fingers warmer. Layer a t-shirt or two and a sweatshirt. He wears regular socks but will switch to wool if it's super cold or he'll be outside for hours. They can wear a skin cap under helmet and on hair if head is cold. Generally they warm up pretty quickly.[/quote]
