Keep in mind that the Capital selection process began in the fall with the CAP program and fall clinics, and continued through the winter with additional CAP sessions and winter clinics. This spring has been more virtual with CAP, and now we’re entering the tryout clinic phase, leading up to tryouts themselves. Girls who have had opportunity to participate are positioned for success during this tryout window. If you haven’t been part of the process from the start, it will be more challenging. Its not impossible, but coaches will be less familiar with your daughter and therefore less comfortable compared to players they’ve been working with since the fall. Good luck to everyone.[/quote]
