I've noticed this as well.  Is it just that we're over our Christmas spike or dare I hope that vaccinations are having an effect?  I know not that many people have been vaccinated yet, but the ones who have in the first round were the most exposed (healthcare workers) and the most vulnerable (nursing home residents, elderly).  Can we keep going down?[/quote]

Christmas spike in terms of hospitalizations/deaths is 4-5 weeks post exposure, so we're right in the midst of it.

That makes sense.  I was disappointed that he was sandbagging the 1M per day number as a goal when we were ALREADY doing that.  Didn't make any sense to me.  1.5m is a solid number to strive for.[/quote]
