Why is there not a lot of good news being printed at the national level RE: Covid. Hospitalizations are WAY down (almost 22,000 less hospitalizations over the last 3 weeks), case trend is going down as well. https://covidtracking.com/data/national https://gisanddata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6 Seems like news is still gloom and doom but the numbers have been turning positive for a little while now, right?
Thanks for sharing! I am not quite sure why the media isn't celebrating this more... But apparently it isn't going unnoticed by our leaders. A few states are loosening restrictions (I am specifically thinking of Chicago and LA which are opening limited capacity restaurant dining now)
The media LOVES the doom and gloom for the most part. If it bleeds, it leads.
I literally just saw this on CNN (the reduction in cases and hospitalizations). It has nothing to do with "the media" loving doom and gloom. "The media" are people, many of whom have lost loved ones or colleagues to Covid.
