For one, I would never knowingly move in my car in a parking lot if someone,
anyone, was as close to my car as these officers were. Let alone armed officers I had been harassing and were trying to arrest me.

Second, these weren’t “ordinary” people in the wrong place at the wrong time minding their own business. They had been following, heckling, and using their car to block the officers.  It’s plausible to think the officer, in the moment, felt like she was trying to run him down. [/quote]
