The thing about these types of cases is that it is usually shocking without major "red flags". The "red flags" come out later. So in my opinion, the fact that we can't think of this exact scenario, with the baby and dog, doesn't really mean much. The general public would have said the same thing about the Hart family. When has there been a FA case with a profile of a lesbian family? Probably never. But then after the fact it emerges that they were child abusers, like so many other cases. Even the Chris Watts case did not 'fit the profile' since usually the murderer also commits suicide at the end. [/quote]

At times we can predict the ending without reading the entire book.  
Posters get so wrapped in material things and appearances, they must pine for like things?  
The homes that Jonathan mortgaged in Mariposa are “starter” type homes.  He put a lot of money into at least one as the building permit proves.  
A$400k house in Mariposa isn’t exactly living large.  Put the same house in rural Nebraska or Iowa and the value plummets to about $175k.  
Many posters find Ellen drop dead (pun unintended) gorgeous.  She was not ugly but she wasn’t overly attractive.  Moo imo Jmo amo (all my opinion)  wonder how she felt about their upcoming move to Hites Cove road?  [/quote]
