I also do not see these referenced "red flags" but if you have something, come on and spill it. I don't care if she: took hallucinogens, went to Burning Man, wore crazy outfits, etc. Sounds normal to me, and I have no friends who had a murder-suicide or family annihilation. MS or FA. So stop being all coy. You don't know anything. I know of no profile that fits this situation. If it ends up being MS or FA, show me a similar case. Or are they one of a kind?
The thing about these types of cases is that it is usually shocking without major "red flags". The "red flags" come out later. So in my opinion, the fact that we can't think of this exact scenario, with the baby and dog, doesn't really mean much. The general public would have said the same thing about the Hart family. When has there been a FA case with a profile of a lesbian family? Probably never. But then after the fact it emerges that they were child abusers, like so many other cases. Even the Chris Watts case did not 'fit the profile' since usually the murderer also commits suicide at the end.
I thought the Hart family looked bad immediately. Adopting a whole bunch of kids is a major red flag. Unfortunately. That they were a lesbian couple was definitely a twist though.
Things often are not as they appear. We have no idea what goes on behind closed doors. It’s easy to put on a happy face, is it not?
Oh yeah, the Hart family also did homeschool. Another major red flag.
They did indeed. We couldntbdiscus “home schilling” much on another site, the owner home schools her offspring so we had to avoid the topic.
*couldn’t discuss
Ha! That's awfully defensive of her. I mean, it's not like all homeschoolers are abusers. But if you see a family with a bunch of adopted kids AND they homeschool? I'm going to be suspicious. Homeschooling is a terrific way to hide your crazy.
