Unless your kid is clearly better than those the coach worked with, it is hard to convince that coach to displace that player with your kid. Your kid only has one or two one-hour sessions to prove him/herself in front of 40-60 kids AND be noticeably better than current players. It's a tall task, and if it doesn't go your way, it doesn't mean it was due to nepotism or favoritism. If your kid is that much better, no coach would pass up on selecting your kid. [/quote]
