DP
How do we describe the idiots who tried to take Barkley down and failed?
Take him down? By not wanting to watch him? (see below)
Yes and we were discussing this exact same thing last year when a famous Eagles player played golf with Trump after their Super Bowl victory. The same fruitcakes who said that player's career was over are now claiming a comedian's career will be impacted because they went to a fight at The White House. No one seems to remember or care about that player's golf round here one year later and I don't see how that player's career has been impacted. People could choose not to go to Eagles games or not to watch Eagles on TV. They simply didn't make that choice to tune out even though these same few dozen keyboard warriors said it would happen. That circumstance could not possibly be more applicable to this conversation. Those fruitcakes need to stop penalizing normal, successful people for living their lives because you are jealous of their opportunities. They are letting Trump win when he lives in their head in that kind of way. Trump will thankfully be gone soon. Get over him and move on.
Look, not wanting to watch someone's entertainment performance -- when you don't want to -- is not penalizing them. It's just not penalizing yourself. Nobody should have to watch comedy because the comedian needs pity or charity viewers Bargatze, of all comedians, doesn't need that, yet you act like he does. You seem to want to hold at the same time: 1. People who don't like Trump-adjacent people in entertainment have no effect on their livelihoods anyway 2. People who don't like Trump-adjacent people in entertainment have no right to avoid them 3. But it totally doesn't matter, so they really really really shouldn't do it, and they are bad people for doing this thing that is irrelevant So, which is it? On a side note, the difference for Bargatze is that he is branded on being nonpolitical and inoffensive. The same isn't true for Barkley or the Eagles. And that may or may not make a difference. Only time will tell. (But still you post rants about the "fruitcakes" who are ... doing something you say doesn't matter, anyway? Then why act like it matters?)
