Based on comments in this thread and conversations I've had, it sounds like a significant number of families are exploring other options this summer. If that's true, there could be a lot of player movement before rosters settle.

To me, the most interesting question isn't whether the remaining clubs can field teams. The math suggests they can. The question is which club will emerge with the strongest roster after Capital takes 44 players out of the market.

Will it be 3D VA, M&D DC, MD United, Pride NoVA, YJ DMV, or YJ VA?

My guess is that one of those clubs will separate itself from the pack and become the strongest non-Capital team in the area.

You have heard wrong. Pride NOVA 2030s are mostly leaving for either 3D or STARS.  Pride Loudon 2030s are all headed to STARs.  It's possible that Pride will still provide a landing space for anyone looking for a home, but STARs will definitely have a 2030 team given what I've heard.  [/quote]
