I doubt it's for the publicity per se, since neither one is all that famous. They can walk around NYC with no fanfare. Jen's new BF has almost as many Insta followers as Theroux now, and she is a 30-something character actress who's had a few meaty but smaller roles in big projects. Too soon to tell how her career will go.

Individually, you are right they’re not that famous but together they are. Do you think Nicole would’ve had a Vanity Fair spread about her wedding if she had married the investment banker she was originally engaged to? No.

And people mainly care about Justin because he dated Jen. His every move from his wedding to this baby announcement people are tracking Jen’s moves. Did she like the post? Does she wish him well? Is she pining after a baby? Which is of course ridiculous because she’s living her life and seems quite happy but she will always be the victim since Brad left her for a beautiful woman who he had six kids with…. only she got the last laugh cause he turned out to be hardly father of the year and ALL six kids are estranged from him, and apparently he was a drunk and a pot addict  for 30 years. She dodged a bullet, but that’s never the story. [/quote]
