[/quote] I don’t think the comic-book analogy fits. Comic books are fictional by design; ancient religious texts are historical documents, even if people disagree about what they ultimately mean. Either way, I’m not trying to argue anyone into belief. I’m just explaining why I’m comfortable where I am. I value conversations with people who think differently—but only when there’s mutual respect.
