What the hell does any of this have to do with "Democrats?"  This was corporate, not political.  They were following a stupid, outdated trend of minimalism for style, not understanding that most people don't like it and already rejected it years ago.   What "Dem" told them to do this?[/quote]

The new logo would have stood out better on the highway, especially at night. Sharper colors. The point is to grab the attention of hungry and tired drivers on the interstates. You know, that thing we all like-- making money. [/quote]

The colors were the same, not sharper.  Changing the logo would have made it less familiar and distinctive from other generic logos for those who knew it, and would have provided no context on what type of restaurant it might be to those who are unfamiliar with it.  The old man resting on his chair conveys that it is something different from impersonal fast food.[/quote]
