It's not about "giving him a chance."  I'm sure he's good, but he's retired and if you haven't noticed, he is the interim principal, not the principal.  Parents want to know what will happen when he leaves. [/quote]

+1 He's retired.  Do people think he's going to stay at BCC for years?  The community wants to know the plans for getting a permanent principal.[/quote]

I would rather have a good interim principal than a permanent principal who is not a good fit. Yates will be there while MCPS (hopefully) identifies a quality principal, which we need BCC to have.[/quote]
