We don't know much about nutrition. Guzzling lots of soda or alcohol: bad. Eating lots of transfats: bad. Being obese: bad. Whole grains, fruits and vegetables, legumes: good. Pretty much everything else: Who knows?
Hey, look, wrong information in the middle of a complaint about wrong information!
Not PP, it how is being obese not bad?
It's possible to be fat and healthy, which I assume the PP equates with goodness.
I think it heavily depends on your definition of healthy. You can be overweight and have a negligible effect on something like longevity but all other things being equal if you've got an overweight person and a normal weight person the overweight person will statistically have more negative health outcomes overall whether that's a higher chance of heart disease, more wear on joints, greater instance of heartburn or a host of other issues. That being said if your definition of "healthy" is simply not dying early or having massive or life-threatening health issues rocking a dad bod instead of a six pack isn't going to move the needle much.
