Will Loudoun soccer fold after this year? They are giving up lsp and relying on county. Revolution is taking over dc United and segra. What’s left?
LS won't fold but expect NVA to fold back into LS when they realize they aren't sustainable on their own. The LS board would be smart to choke off resources to NVA. Why would LS want to be the 3rd or 4th best club in Loudoun?
the mlsn boys are going to get smoked. They will now see what athletes look like. The slow undersized boys are going to get freight trained.
Don't pay much attention to rankings but am curious why you say this. Seems like the boys teams 2010 and older are ranked ahead of all but 1 or maybe 2 MLSN teams in VA. Are you talking about getting smoked by the Academy teams (which I get)? The only age group I am familiar with is the 08s and I can't imagine them getting worked unless they lost a bunch of players. They're really good.
I agree. The "freight trained" comment is biased nonsense. My son is on a local MLSN side and NVA ECNL squad in his age group is as good or better than most teams in the MLSN division. And if they added top level players thanks to the new league, they'll be top 6.
You assume rosters will remain the same
