There is a sizable number of Americans who don't understand it either.  He's a terrible, terrible, terrible person.  And an incompetent POTUS.  It makes no sense whatsoever to cast a vote for him.  None.  Zero. Zip.  It's like we are all in the Upside Down.[/quote]

He may or may not have lied about many things.  The tariffs however, he was not lying about.

Contrast that with Democrats who you know are politicians after all and lied about many things.  Take for example recycling.  As it turns out, you can't recycle plastic.  However, they did nothing when it came to their progressive economic agenda and class disparities.  So, there is the basic reasoning.  Trump has done some things (big things) that he said he was going to do that we liked.[/quote]

Let me point out a key feature of your post that you are probably unaware of:
When you mention the Democratic party you clearly call them “democrats” which means a broad coalition of individuals that all form one party in order to compromise and work together to govern our country. The party platform is what represents us all, not some singular action by an individual who happens to claim party loyalty.!

On the other hand, when you mention “Trump”you are talking about a single individual who has zero cohesive policy ideas and who does not listen to anyone who may have more experience than him.

That about sums up our current situation. Democrats are real humans with a diverse set of beliefs who are willing to govern as best as they can….as a group.

The republican party doesn’t even exist. You are talking about about a POTUS who has no consistent platform and who changes his kind by the minute. There is no republican party anymore. Just a Trump cult.
