True.  IMO, that's why RMIB is the best program because at RM, you can also take BC Calc and MVC (that class is always full btw, both periods).[/quote]

There’s no Multivariable at BCC. The hallmark of a good IB program is that they offer AP Calculus BC.  :lol: [/quote]

Multivariable is not for IB students, they take IB HL Math instead.

The advanced students start with Algebra 2 in 9th, then Precalculus, AP Calculus BC. In 12th grade they split, IBDP takes IB Math HL, and the students who really care about math take Multivariable and differential equations.

Check the BCC IB math pathways in the link, it’s not offered. Unless you’re the RMIB kid mom, that uses every opportunity available to mention her child took Calculus BC and Multivariable.

Only 2-3 kids in the entire district take Algebra in 6th grade to be on that path, unless they doubled up in math along the way. It’s not really doable for most students. And even then, it’s better to take AP Stats and Linear Algebra instead of IB HL Math.[/quote]
