If you weren't scared off from having children a few months ago, what with constant war in the Middle East, ever greater wealth inequality, climate change, pandemics, environmental disasters, Russia, Iran, North Korea, etcetera, the last two weeks really shouldn't be making this much of a difference. Obviously a part of you doesn't want to have children, even if you can't acknowledge it. I say this kindly, as someone who spent a decade, and close to a million dollars, trying to conceive, ultimately unsuccessfully. It is very hard for women to admit to themselves, and to others, that they don't want children, or even that they're ambivalent about it. Many women, like me, were/are able to lie to themselves, and to others, by pointing to how hard they tried. You don't even have to pretend to try, you can just blame Trump. I know you can't admit this now, but with time, therapy and maybe some pets, you'll figure it out. [/quote]
