Ecnl has forced ecnl clubs (union/brave) to merge so why would they consider taking a club with no ecnl rl and ok top teams and merging them with the lowest ranked club in ecnl rl to give them ecnl. I also don’t think asa would want to do it and lose out on MLSN. Historically those two clubs have also struggled to work together and right now asa is the strongest of the two and would unlikely be willing to give up any power in decision making to LMVSC.
