Why is Angelina catching strays when this thread isn’t even about her? AJ looked lovely and didn’t seem to mind going solo. She got a standing ovation, her kids love her, she looks great. Ines looks great too. A different kind of great, but great nonetheless. Ines jumped right into a relationship with BP while divorcing so maybe they’re both just having fun? Maybe it will turn serious? Don’t think AJ cares either way…
Endless misogyny. It's so disheartening to see constant posts always attacking women in the worst way while men and their horrible behavior is ignored. Brad was violent with his wife and children and everyone gives him a pass. We are marching back in time wrt women's rights in this country.
+1
Does Angelina get a pass for her violence?
DP. Neither gets a pass. They are both raging addicts with major issues. It’s always funny to me when people pick sides with a crazy celebrity couple. It’s clear they are both troubled, addicted, shallow people. It’s not like a healthy Brad Pitt married crazy and had a bunch of kids with this person if he wasn’t bonkers himself. And same for Angie. When she met Brad he was married and we now know he was a heavy daily pot smoker and drinker - he’s admitted that. They clearly both ignored red flags. Blinds have been saying for years the relationship had soured by 2009 but Angie insisted they stay together because of appearances and she didn’t want Aniston to be able to say told you so. So they had an open drug fueled relationship. It’s a mess all around.
Angelina is not shallow. She is a humanitarian and an amazing mom to 6 kids who all adore her. Brad and Jen Aniston on the other hand ha e always been obsessed with their good looks and self importance. No wonder they’ll have no family to keep them company in old age.
It is well known that Angelina was addicted to her own for several years, including while raising those kids. But yeah, I’m sure she’s super deep.
LOL. She was not addicted to heroin while raising the kids. As if Brad would ever allow that to happen.
Brad is actually a pretty terrible person. Look up all the stuff he did with the charity that left people high and dry after hurricane Katrina. He’s also a major drug and alcohol addict for years so I don’t really vibe with the he would never allow it LOL unless this was sarcasm? Angelina was definitely an addict. Maybe it wasn’t heroin but it was definitely pills. You can just look back at pictures or over the years to see that. It was in plain sight. They also had a very open marriage. Angelina loves the ladies. I don’t think it was the best decision to get with a married man who was leaving a seven year relationship and immediately adopt a third kid with him and have a baby with him within a year of getting together. And then of course they added the twins. It seems like it’s more more more and it’s never enough for either of them. I hate the misogyny on this board. I bet Brad is way worse than Angelina. And it’s probably better that she has the kids. And it seems like she’s calmed down and matured and is probably a good mom now. But she made some really really bad choices in those early years when they were getting together. I’m sure her BRCA status and her childhood played into it and I have sympathy for her. But damn what a mistake to tie yourself and 6 kids to Brad.
I think many see it as him making the mistake of tying himself to her, and with 6 kids at that. Huge mistake. This self-centered global citizen just loved to drag her kids all over the world on a whim because it suited her. Stability, structure, discipline? Who needs those? He is the one who pushed for a more normal upbringing for the kids. He lost that battle while they were married. A judge agreed with him during custody hearings. She became a good mom when she had no choice but to keep her arse in LA and put the kids’ needs first.
She should have just adopted or went to a sperm bank. He was never 100% truly behind having them and shouldn't have. Jennifer and her friends called it from the start.
He always spoke of having kids before and after Jennifer. Melissa Etheridge considered asking him to be her and her wife’s donor but she didn’t because she knew he badly wanted kids, would want to be the third parent and the lines would be blurred.
