Understanding usually involves abstract thinking, abstract thinking usually involves the ability to percieve how ones actions (or their dog's actions) might affect another.

So, it seems that there are a majority of dog owners (especially my neighbors) who don't seem to have the ability to think abstractly, otherwise they may think, 'Hmm...since this is not my property, I will make sure Fifi uses our property for urination and defecation instead of our neighbors property"...  wouldn't that be nice?

I honestly believe these offenders just don't care. What ever happened to common decency and respecting others, that is a rhetorical question, since they wouldn't understand. I think it's beyond their comprehension. Too bad, because it has just gotten worse.

But, since they are incapable of respecting others, we the infuriated must do what we can to make theirs and their dog's life misaerable.

All is fair in love and war.

As one can probably discern, I despise dogs for this very reason.
