Do you remember the 2004 tsunami? There were places with fewer fatalities and one of the reasons for that was some places had had a history of tsunamis and the cultural memory of what to do when the water recedes.

So long as we retain the cultural memory that “purity” votes, votes that “send a message,” etc only block progress, we’ll be alright. Yeah there are nutjobs who might vote for RFK, or whoever else runs when RFK flames out, but let’s make sure they remain the fringe voters. Intelligent people will realize that a vote for anyone other than the Democrats is a vote, this time especially, to end the American Experiment, to send women back to the 1850s, to send minorities back there too, to enshrine fascism and corruption into our country.
