SWW didn't care [/quote] Correct. I asked if we could use a history teacher as my kid's ELA teacher was out sick for a month but was told "no" and to use the ELA teacher from 7th grade. However, this teacher had left the school. So I had to track down this teacher at another school. It was a mess. Kid did not get in with a 4.0 I explained this all to SWW and they would not flex on who could write the rec. My kid applied to privates and they were fine with having a history teacher write the ELA rec. [/quote]
