Gerry's deceased wife's name is Toni. She was most likely Italian. At first, I thought she was black.

He might not have a type, and he might just be looking for a woman who is right for him.

He said he feels most comfortable and most like he can be himself around Ellen. He said he didn't think Ellen had ever been pampered. He spoke with Ellen about how he and his wife didn't have two nickels to rub together when they were younger, and Ellen understood.

Gerry most likely will want a woman who is very down to earth.

Theresa seemed very down to earth and relatable. She won't be a diva, I don't think.

I'm not sure why. Ellen is just as attractive as Theresa. The difference is, Ellen is divorced after 25 years of marriage, and Theresa lost her high school sweetheart spouse to kidney failure. Gerry probably feels like he can relate the most to Theresa. [/quote]
