Yes, FBI and DHS and others failed and let it get worse by ignoring and not acting on the mountain of warnings and evidence leading up to it.  The Pentagon failed and let it get worse by sitting on their asses for hours and hours as numerous officials called them for backup.  We still need accountability for that.

When the FBI, DHS and the military were all under the control of Trump and his co-conspirators, they are saying the quiet part out loud. Bottom line, a few patriots in the Capitol Police and the DC MPD saved our republic. Period.[/quote]

Additionally, it is not everyday that information is freely shared between legislative and executive branches. It’s very rare. There was a high level classified threat briefing leading up to the Inauguration but I’m not so sure there was ahead of Jan 6th. [/quote]
