[/quote] +1 It's harder from private to Magnet due to gap being too large. Some may still make it but it's rare.[/quote] It's rare because people generally don't apply. In our tiny little Catholic school with a class of 24 students, one student applied and got into a magnet (Poolesville). The others didn't apply to magnets because they are mainly interested in private school education, in most cases specifically Catholic. Most got into the top Catholic high schools in the area, including Georgetown Prep, Stone Ridge, and Visitation.[/quote]
