The other was under his pickup truck working on it when the engine fell on his chest. 
Another neighbor survived, but lost one arm and part of his shoulder in a hay baling accident--arm got caught in the baler when he was trying to get something unstuck. He had the presence of mind to stick his boot in the part of the baler that was pulling in his arm or he would have died right there. Neighbors heard him screaming.

Horrifying one I read about was a doctor in Texas who was decapitated when the winter scarf he was wearing got caught in hospital elevator doors, and he was not inside the elevator.
