I think a lot of people are God as like a loving energy force. Like the sun but only positive vibes. So they see God as a force of nature and in line with it.
What about when prayers are not answered?
Prayer is not a request for goodies, favors, or a way to tell God what to do. What if I pray for someone I don’t like to die? Should God say ok and fulfill my prayer? We can pray for anything, but if you are a person who understands prayer, you will use prayer as a way to build a personal relationship with God. Whenever I pray, I prayerfully tell God- Your Will be done. I might be praying for something that is not good for me. I trust God’s plan for me. If you are praying to God, and you don’t get an answer, it may not be time for the answer yet. I understand children pray for things they want in life, but as adults, we have to understand that is not how it works. God isn’t running a request line and granting all requests.
