For the last several decades, Republicans have kept wages stagnant for the working class, while giving big corporations, millionaires and billionaires tax break after tax break, shifting more and more of the burden on the working class, on consumers, on ratepayers - while corporate profits and the wealth of the richest has skyrocketed.

Republicans and Democrats don't set wages for the working class unless you're talking about the minimum wage. Wages and salaries are dependent on the skills of the individual, needs of the industry, supply/demand, negotiation skills of the individual, etc. If you don't like your wages, increase/improve your skills so you are more in demand. This is how capitalism works.[/quote]
