The fact that later developments mean that I might have been better off doesn't change that (nor does it change all the interest I've saved since refinancing). I've always understood that student debt relief probably won't include me, which is fine; I'm not "shafted" because someone else gets a benefit that I don't get. I'll be happy for them and keep paying my loan. [/quote]
