Sometime YouTube comments can have nuggets of wisdom. It was refreshing to see a lack of trolls in the comment section to that video.

This one particular comment really resonated with me and hit the nail on the head:

What we see is Vladimir Putin's complete failure of understanding the geopolitics of the 21st century. It is all about economy. That's the problem with this guy. You can't teach an old dog new tricks. China for example understands exactly what it needs to do how to play the geopolitical game. This is ironic too, because everyone perceived this man as a political mastermind, but if we put his legacy into economical terms we will see what an utter screw up he has been.[/i][/quote][/quote]
