It actually wouldn't be weird at all. I was just reading that we did something similar in WWII. Left military equipment near the Canadian border, and the Canadians retrieved it and gave it to Britain.

The best thing would be for the jets to get lost and show up in Ukraine. Poland sent the planes to US air base in Germany. Now the US said they have to go back to Poland. Polish pilots are already back in Poland, US pilots can’t flight the plane….have to bring in some pilots who know how to flight these planes…[/quote]
