I'm not against masks--I still wear mine at work. However, I watched this clip and I do not agree with the comparison of masks to seatbelts. [b]How can we allow our children to become so scared of this virus? [/b]A kid who is terrified of killing a friend or family member needs to be reassured by their parents, not encouraged!!! Anxiety is a health issue! It's an impact on our kids and we are turning away from the crisis to focus slowly on covid.

Also, if you're going on tv to emphasize the importance of masking and ventilation, don't do the interview indoors. Big Yikes.

Yep.  Same thought here.  Our family is already highly prone to bouts of health related anxiety, so I'm hyperaware of how we talk about Covid / masking with the kids.  [/quote]
