If it's on top of the all the base costs, it's an additional 10 million...which would mean they are spending twice as much to educate kids from home....and additional $25k per student that could have gone to supplementing Virtual Virginia rather than APS rolling their own. [/quote]

The school board is unwilling to challenge Duran on anything.  They don’t ever want to look like they are undermining him.  My discussions with board members last year made that perfectly and publicly clear. They are more sensitive to that than to any damage he causes, of which there is plenty.[/quote]
