+ 1  the original impetus for Youngkin among local parents started last year with the dismantling of TJ and AAP, the very clear VADOE Secretary and staff attempts to dismantle tracks to upper level math and the plan to group all levels of math students in a grade in the same class up through grade 9 (IIRC) in the name of equity, the excessive  contracts that the oppressively Democratic school board paid out regarding social emotional learning and privilege,  and the narrow focus on school renaming rather than learning.  Families across nationalities, backgrounds and political parties were against these actions. [/quote]
