Ok so a parent brings up a legitimate complaint about pedophilia in a high school library and we are somehow talking about trump and youngkin? Step away from politics for two seconds. Kiddy porn shouldn’t be supported by either party!
The problem is that it’s utterly illegitimate. There is no pornography involved. And idiot dupes like you just keep repeating the lies without even bothering to read either book that you’re so lathered up about. It’s reprehensible. You are reprehensible. You are getting your dopamine hits from repeating outrage manufactured by political operatives. You Haven’t Read Either Book You are actually taking time out of your day to post in favor of banning a. Book you have never read. What happened to you as a child that made you so easily led?
Honest question? Were those images I saw on Twitter of animated oral sex not accurate? Cause there’s no way that’s not pornography
First, I don’t get my news from Twitter. I have no idea if those were images from the book and neither do you. Why don’t you read the book before you comment? Second, no. The images that I have seen from the book are not pornography. They are not in any way intended to make the viewer sexually aroused. They were not salacious or gratuitous. I’m not a fan of the book but no one who actually read it can claim that it’s purpose is to sexually arose the reader. There are also graphic depictions of bloody sanitary napkins. Are you in the demographic that gets off on those? It’s a coming of age story filled with awkwardness and weirdness and uncomfortable stuff. Kind of like life. Not my cup of tea but no one is forcing me or my son to check it out from the library. If it will make another kid feel seen or help a kid understand someone else’s story and be more empathetic, an awkward daring of a sex act seems a small price to pay.
