I too thought it was enough money for Belinda to start her business without Coolidge involved, but that Belinda’s sadness was that she had actually finally connected with Coolidge on a personal level (realizing that she had been the first to recognize Belinda’s talents and appreciate her for them) and wasn’t looking at Coolidge simply as an investor.  I think she actually wanted the team component and was bitter.  That’s why she didn’t want to connect when Rachel approached - she put up an emotional wall and decided she didn’t want to act as anybody’s would be therapist anymore.[/quote]
