There were a few weeks where I thought my DD was heading in the same direction, so I feel your pain. It sounds like he has a strong support system in place and i truly hope only good things come his way. But I still can’t wrap my head around the idea that a student with his stats would end up in this position. It’s an utterly inhumane process.

It's very unfortunate, poor kid. But I too am wondering what his safeties were and if that's the lesson for him to learn for next year. It is completely ridiculous IMO to conclude that there is racism at play here. The percentage of white, UMC boys who want to go to college but can't get admitted somewhere has got to be statistically close to zero.[/quote]
