People are just speculating, presuming she got knocked up on purpose to get him to marry her. No-one knows what really happened. And no-one denies that he was incredibly lucky to have her, then and now.[/quote]

Again, who knows about their private dynamic but based on public perception, Ben was incredibly lucky to meet and marry Jen. She seems to be the most maternal, problem free and grounded woman he could have found to have a family with. She appeared to be absolutely besotted with him, was incredibly loyal and accommodating. Because she took care of the home front, he was able to focus on his career while having a bunch of happy, well adjusted children.

She wasnt' a doormat...she kicked him out when he banged the nanny.  She did want her kids to have a father that they could respect.  Which is why both she and Matt Damon helped with his rehab.  She has made several comments in magazines that do not condone or indicate she accepted the behavior.  She is also in the public eye and everything they do or say will be forever on the internet for their kids to read.  I admire her ability to put her kids first.[/quote]
