How about getting personal and real property taxes back from the county for lack of services (school, fields, parks, etc.)? Paid A LOT more money to the county for this than to LS for rec soccer. Where are all those complaints? Who do you think LS got robbed by on all the non LSP fields (yes, the county)? This is the real robbery.
The county is still providing government services. Loudoun Soccer spring 2020 rec parents didn’t receive anything in terms of services. Your argument is inane. I’m curious to see the rec enrollment numbers for fall. Karma is a bitch.
The county is not providing the same level of services. Argument is very sound. You just don’t like it. Do you work for the county? Probably. Give me a % refund on my taxes please.
Hehe these LS staffers are patrolling extra hours during these days. Non stop posts about tryouts... summer camps... rec shit... canned crappy responses on posts... idk, if I had to guess I think their numbers have dropped/are dropping significantly. As for the poster saying LS got robbed by the county... how much is LS paying you for desecrating your integrity in such spiteful and denigrating way? You really can’t find a job elsewhere? Or the gig of working in an office a mere 4 hours a day sipping lattes and laughing on these parents you stole from is too easy to drop? Talk about integrity, stewardship, and bla bla bla
You’re posting at 3:30am. Go to sleep buddy. Let’s quote you: “If I had to guess.” Meaning you have no facts and are talking out of your rear. “You really can’t find a job elsewhere.” I have a job and have been working full time and delivering value to company and customers as always, unlike the county. That’s the point dummy. The county took our taxes and cut services. Why aren’t you whining about that? “There parents you stole from.” I don’t work for LS, so I stole from no one. Get a clue bud. Meanwhile, yeah, LS should have repaid their customers on a pro rated basis. But they didn’t. That is known. Don’t use them in the future and if you want money back from the past then take legal action or be quiet. Come up with something new please.
You don't work for LS, and you know what they did was wrong but you're here defending them and trying to quiet people. Integrity, indeed.
Where above did I defend them? God, you folks are simple. Reread what I wrote. The post is about proportionality. They both ripped us off, but the county ripped us off more. Hence spend your time bitching about our county not some rinky dink soccer club. That’s the point. Got it? Christ, I hope you don’t vote.
The county didn't rip me off. Teachers taught via zoom, just like travel coaches. In both instances, the standard of service was lower, but I understand that my $ was going to pay the salary that was directly providing services. For Loudoun Soccer's Rec program, there was no service provided. None. Nada.
Just consider it a donation to the hard working travel coaches who well deserve it and move on with life. And keep donating to your church even through you can’t go.
This was rec money. So not only do you not get a service but you are expected to consider it a “donation” to travel coaches who should be paid through their own team? And what about taxes? Loudoun Soccer would have to provide a receipt claiming the $82 was a donation, admitting there was no service provided. Stop telling people to suck it up and calling them cheap when LS is to cheap to give the money back. I’ll ask one more time, what rationale does LS have for keeping the money?
I always wondered what happened to that newspaper boy from Better Off Dead.
You do realize that kid either collected the money or paid for it himself right? Yes it is a funny bit in the movie but the motivation of that kid was he was not going to both deliver the paper AND be stuck with the bill for the paper because someone was to cheap or inconsiderate to pay $2.
