They are trying to put the best options together. And, they have not obtained their goal yet.  If they had, they would announce it.  But the longer it takes the worse the options usually get.  If ECNL was certain on them for both boys and girls it would be done by now.  They are not.  The boys had DA longer than the girls.  So assume the boys get ECNL.  The girls don’t have a long history of placing kids in D1 versus McLean or Bethesda.  So assume that is not in the bag.  Give them a break.  There are many ex DA teams in the same situation. An answer is coming.  You may not like it if you have a boy or girl, but it’s coming. [/quote]

ECNL added teams this week from the NE and GAL announced their NE division.  GAL announced their Mid America division this week and ECNL has been announcing new clubs in the same area, including a brand new Louisville club.  There are a lot of things in motion in secret negotiations with high pressure on the whole process.  10 days is lifetime for this sudden closure of one national boys and girls league, during a pandemic, and three national leagues competing for the remnants.
