First off, all those kids were NOT minorities at that party.  Second, she is making a general statement that isn't exactly true.  More white kids I know cannot swim due to lazy parents vs. minority kids.[/quote]

Again with your inane anecdotes....they're irrelevant.  The FACTS clearly show that minority kids are at a significant disadvantage when it comes to swimming abilities.  A cursory google search will show you many studies that reflect this disparity and again, it is a very real problem that should be addressed systemically. [/quote]
